David Dee

David Dee is a husband, father of 3 and music pastor at Life Worship Center in Pretoria. He has ministered in churches like Rhema Bible Church in JHB, Durban Christian Centre, Oasis of Life, Dominion life JHB and many more. This PK (pastor's Kid) was born in Durban in 1981. There are 8 children in his family. As clichéd as it sounds, David started singing at the age 5 and by 15 he was arranging songs for music groups. Having moved to Pretoria in 1999, he started a boys band which went on to perform all over the country and neighbouring countries as well. At 19 he composed and produced an album for Artist/AIDS Activist Musa Njoko and all the while his love for writing and performing music grew even stronger.

'Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth...'

List of achievements:

In 2005 he recorded his first solo contemporary gospel album which was titled ' I do believe' under his company called Ubusu Begagu Media. This album features Bebe Cele, Dj Christos and sold thousands of copies at his live performances.

In 2006 he became part of the Love Life Generation album which features Danny K, Tamara Dey, Black Coffee and BOP and toured the country performing his track 'Maye'. In this same year he started a Season concert, a music event that aims to inspire and attract the youth to the body of Christ. This project also focuses on creating a platform for the discovery of new talent and a Godly lifestyle.

In 2007 he became part of the World Song Contest album. In 2009 David was part of miller rock the boat sharing the stage with bands like the Parlotones, 340ml, Flash Republic and others.

And when the world cup came to our shores in 2010, David performed at the fan fest stadium in Centurion and other related events. In that very year he also recorded his live DVD titled 'Season one'.
