Every success story starts with inspiration from someone or a certain situation. Victor Nkomo grew up watching his father who never saw the school door, successfully raising six kids out of his loan shark and goat meat business in the township. My father was retrenched during the time when the Zimbabwe economy went from being the Africa’s bread basket to what it is today. He started supplying goat meat serving the community while running a profitable business. This was enough discovery that every person is born with a humbling special seed of talent that God has planted in them. The interesting part of my inspiration was that most of my father’s clients who came to get the monthly loans were the so called educated people from big corporates, which meant that most of these people could not manage their income despite their level of education.
The big lesson I learnt from my father’s story was that there is a need to awaken this special seed in us. Searching for answers how to awaken this humbling talent that God has planted is, I discovered that everyone on the planet earth is saved to shine, born again not to suffer again, but born again to reign again. While reading Revelation19:16 which says “ On His robe and on His thigh a name was written KING OF KINGS , LORDS OF LORDS, God granted the vision to start a Christian clothing brand which will represents a realisation of the humbling special seed of talent that God has planted in each one of us. We are all born as kings as we are created in God's image. My dream and purpose is to change people’s lives by making them realise that in them there is a special seed, their unique talents that God has planted in them. It is this special seed of talent that our father has entrusted to us to cultivate-succeed while serving and bring all the glory to God Jehovah. This has been the roadmap to the start of the great brand called KING OF KINGS CHRISTIAN CLOTHING, a brand worn by pride while changing someone’s life.
‘…let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour , My righteous cause; yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.’ Ps 35:27
