I-Foundation
Intercape is committed to the socio-economic development and upliftment of its employees as well as the community. Therefore Intercape has established the i-Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the quality of life of our employees and the local community, through the various initiatives of i-Care, i-Equip and Intercede.
The i-Foundation is committed to providing children with access to nutritious meals, and is passionate about what food can do to lift people out of poverty. For thousands of children in Southern Africa, the lack of food can diminish concentration, erode willpower and strip away the potential greatness of a child. Often, this burden is compounded by HIV or the trauma of losing loved ones or parents; a responsibility that no child should have to bear. Without food, both the children’s attendance and performance at school is jeopardized.
